Frequently asked questions?
-
May I referee 3 games in the same day?
Yes, if you are physically and mentally fit to referee all day. Our rule is: you will not be available for next booking 3 hours from your previous KO time.
-
What should I do if I am unable to referee the game (After I get booked)?
If somebody books you to referee the game, you are expected to referee that game. You must find another referee to replace you for that game.
-
Do I lose my fee if I am late and I arrive after KO time?
If both teams accept to play the game full time with delayed KO time (with ground man’s permission) you will not have reduced fee. However if game have to be played shorter because of your late arrival to the ground your fee could be reduced appropriately. E. g. If you are late 15 minutes for adult (90 minutes) game (agreed fee of £30.00) and game must be played 15 minutes shorter because of that, your fee could be reduced to £25.00 because you will referee 60 minutes only: 90 divide 60 = 1.2, so £30 divide 1.2 = £25.00.
